Steve has been working with steel since 1988. He attended Bowling Green Tech for tool-and die-making, and is certified by the American Welding Society, American Institute of Steel Construction, Metal Inert Gas Welding and Shielded Metal Arc Welding, 3G, and 4G. Steve helped build SR’s Structural Steel and Industrial Rigging division in the late 1990’s.

Passionate about steel and rigging work, Steve has been a part of the design teams and/or managed many jobs in the local area such as: SKyPAC, Block six wrap, and the Bowling Green Hot Rods stadium. Medical facility projects include: Nursing Facility at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, addition to Graves Gilbert Clinic, TJ Sampson Hospital of Glasgow, and Twin Lakes Medical addition. Numerous educational facilities such as: Bristow Elementary, Metcalf Primary Center, New Taylor County High School, Sports complex at Warren East High School and Warren Central High School. As well as many industrial plant additions including: Riken of Hopkinsville, Bowling Green Metal Forming, American Howa, Kobe Aluminum, Kobe KPex phase one and two, Metalsa of Elizabethtown, and several NHK projects.
