Donald Graves graduated from Monroe County High School and earned certifications in electrical and electronics from Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College. He worked for an electrical company in Bowling Green for two years before joining the military. Over his 24-year military career, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Trident University and a master’s degree in human resources and organizational development from the University of Louisville. Donald specialized in communications and served as an instructor at the Recruiting and Retention College in Fort Knox, finishing his military career as the Syracuse Recruiting Battalion Command Sergeant Major.

Donald has been married to his wife, Brandi, for over 24 years. They have one daughter, Tinley, who is entering her junior year at Western Kentucky University. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, softball, and basketball, as well as fishing and hunting.

After retiring, Donald moved to Auburn, KY, in March 2024. He joined Stewart Richey in July 2024 as the Workforce/Organizational Development Specialist. In this role, he develops and maintains evaluation processes and career path trackers for employees and assists with HR functions such as recruitment, retention, and job fairs.
