Executive Team

  • Rodney Rogers

    Rodney Rogers, CEO with Stewart Richey since 1986

    Rodney has been with Stewart Richey since 1986.  In 1990, he was promoted to division manager of S&R Excavation (one of the former subcontracting divisions now known as our Grade, Drain, & Utility division.) where he served until 2005, at which point he was promoted to president of Stewart-Richey Construction, Inc.  With the retirement of co-founder, Buster Stewart, Rodney moved up to CEO in 2019.  A 40+ year veteran of the industry, Rodney served as a board member of Builders Association of South Central Kentucky between 2000-2007, as well as president of Builders Association of South Central Kentucky in 2005.

    In recent years, he has served as a board member for Kids on The Block, Junior Achievement, Bowling Green WC Licensing Board, the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center (SKyPAC), and Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, where he also served as president in 2011. 

  • Roddy Grimes

    Roddy Grimes, President with Stewart Richey since 2000

    As President, Roddy Grimes is responsible for the overall operational success of the General Contracting Division, Contracting Groups and Service Groups of Stewart Richey Construction.  Roddy joined Stewart Richey Construction in 2000, having a deep understanding of the construction industry from his beginning years with Houchens Industries as their Commercial Refrigeration Technician in 1993.

    Prior to becoming President, Roddy served as Vice President as well as in Stewart Richey’s Service Division successfully as an Estimator, Project Manager and then Division Manager.

    Roddy supports the construction industry by giving back his time and serving as a board member for the following:  Bowling Green Warren County Licensing Board, Southcentral Kentucky Community and Technical College Foundation, and Builders Association of South Central Kentucky.

    Roddy holds several technical degrees from Bowling Green Technical College in Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation & Refrigeration Technologies, Fire Protection, and his Level III Certification for Water-Based Systems from the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies.

  • Ryan Stokes

    Ryan Stokes, CFO with Stewart Richey since 2009

    Ryan Stokes joined Stewart Richey Construction in 2009.  Ryan holds a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Marketing from Western Kentucky University.  Prior to joining Stewart Richey Construction, Ryan worked in public accounting as a staff accountant for BKD, LLP. 

    As a key member of the Executive Management team, Ryan assumes a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company.  Day-to-day responsibilities include planning, budgeting, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.  His duties includes direct responsibility for accounting and finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal and risk analysis, corporate compliance and institutional financing.  

  • Randy Dillard

    Randy Dillard, Vice President of Operations - Electrical, Mechanical and Fire Protection with Stewart Richey since 2006

    Randy has professionally worked in the industry since 1982 but has spent his entire life learning the trade as the son on an electrician.  He is a certified Master Electrician, a member of the Electrical Clearing House of Southern Kentucky, and has been trained on Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People.  Randy attended Western Kentucky University and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. 

    Randy has been a valuable part of the Stewart Richey team since 2006 and was promoted to Vice President of Operations for our electrical, mechanical, and fire protection divisions in 2015.  As a VPO, Randy is responsible for enforcing the Best Practices policies set by Stewart Richey, advising division managers under his span of influence, monitoring and enforcing safety policies, as well as helping to manage bidding, backlog, overhead, and job set up.  During Randy’s tenure at Stewart Richey, projects of note have been Western Spirits and Western Kentucky University Kentucky Street Apartments.

  • Scott Holt

    Scott Holt, Vice President of Operations - General Construction and Painting with Stewart Richey since 2014

    Scott Holt began his career in the construction industry in 1993 after receiving an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army and currently serves as Vice President of Operations for our general construction and painting divisions.  With a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and an Associate degree in Architectural Design and Construction from Western Kentucky University, Scott is a LEED Accredited Professional and has been with the company since 2014.

    His construction experience includes working in the field as a subcontractor, owning a small construction company, estimating and project management on various size projects and delivery methods in several different states.

    At Stewart Richey, Scott is responsible for the financial and business management of the Grade, Drain & Utilities, Painting and General Contracting groups.


  • Tim VanMeter

    Tim VanMeter, Vice President of Operations - Concrete, Pre-Engineered and Structural with Stewart Richey since 2014

    Tim VanMeter obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree from WKU in Civil Engineering Technology with an emphasis in construction. He has worked in the construction industry since the age of eighteen and has personally managed numerous construction projects since the early 1990’s.  He established and operated, as President and Project Operations Officer, a highly reputable contracting business in Bowling Green for over sixteen years.  He is an honorably discharged service member and a Veteran of the 1991 Persian Gulf War.  Tim has held the position of Vice President of Operations for Stewart Richey’s concrete, pre-engineered steel, and structural steel divisions since 2014.


  • Jerod Kaufman

    Jerod Kaufman, General Contracting Division Manager with Stewart Richey since 2017

    Jerod hails from Kenai, Alaska and developed his passion for construction during the five years spent working in the on-shore and off-shore Alaskan oil industry.  He relocated to Bowling Green in pursuit of his project management degree and is an alum of Western Kentucky University’s Civil Engineering Technology/Construction Management program.  Jerod is active in many civic organizations including the Boys and Girls Club, First Responders Foundation, and the Christian County Chamber of Commerce where he currentl serves at the Board Chairman.

    Jerod’s career has taken him across the United States and provided experience in a variety of construction project types, delivery methods and responsibilities.  His resume includes projects covering various market segments including Post-Secondary Education, Industrial, Manufacturing, Municipal, Heavy Civil, Mining, Food & Beverage, Commercial and more.  Jerod’s Design/Build industrial and commercial experience offers our clients a front end resource to help build their project scope, budget and high level construction schedule at the onset of their planning phase. 

  • Bobby Ramsey

    Bobby Ramsey, Concrete Manager with Stewart Richey since 2009

    Bobby Ramsey has worked in the industry since 1971, with experience in foundations, bridges, pits, slabs, site, and curbs. He has completed 30 hours of mines safety training and is a certified concrete flatwork finisher.  Bobby has been an asset to the Stewart Richey team since 2009.  He is responsible for managing our concrete division as well as estimating, supervising work sites, and is also capable of equipment operation.  Projects of note for Bobby include two Meijer stores, Champion Pet Foods, North American Stamping Pits, and numerous of other jobs both large and small in scale.

  • J.R. Vance

    J.R. Vance, Concrete Associate Division Manager with Stewart Richey since 2013

    J.R. Vance has worked in the construction industry since 2006.  J.R. served as a Concrete Project Manager for Stewart Richey from 2014 to July of 2019 before being promoted to Associate Division Manager for Concrete in 2019.  Previously, J.R. worked as Estimator for Stewart Richey’s Grade, Drain, and Utilities Division.  A Western Kentucky University alumni who graduated Cum Laude, J.R. holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering.

    J.R. is in charge of managing projects, project billings, vendor payments, and some estimating. Large projects that J.R. has participated in include: Champion Petfoods, 667,000 SF Warehouse for Dart Container, Owensboro Meijer, Cannon Phase I and Phase II.

  • Steve Montgomery

    Steve Montgomery, Structural Steel Manager with Stewart Richey since 1991

    Steve has been working with steel since 1988.  He attended Bowling Green Tech for tool-and die-making, and is certified by the American Welding Society, American Institute of Steel Construction, Metal Inert Gas Welding and Shielded Metal Arc Welding, 3G, and 4G.  Steve helped build SR's Structural Steel and Industrial Rigging division in the late 1990’s. 

    Passionate about steel and rigging work, Steve has been a part of the design teams and/or managed many jobs in the local area such as: SKyPAC, Block six wrap, and the Bowling Green Hot Rods stadium.  Medical facility projects include: Nursing Facility at the Medical Center of Bowling Green, addition to Graves Gilbert Clinic, TJ Sampson Hospital of Glasgow, and Twin Lakes Medical addition.  Numerous educational facilities such as: Bristow Elementary, Metcalf Primary Center, New Taylor County High School, Sports complex at Warren East High School and Warren Central High School.  As well as many industrial plant additions including: Riken of Hopkinsville, Bowling Green Metal Forming, American Howa, Kobe Aluminum, Kobe KPex phase one and two, Metalsa of Elizabethtown, and several NHK projects.

  • Bryan Carrico

    Bryan Carrico, Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings Manager with Stewart Richey since 2012

    Bryan Carrico has worked in the construction industry since 2003. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural and Industrial Sciences with an emphasis in Construction Management which he received from Western Kentucky University. He also holds an OSHA 10 Hour Certificate.  Bryan serves on the Architectural and Industrial Sciences Advisory Board for WKU and is also a member of the Alvaton Volunteer Fire Department.

    Bryan has worked in Project Management and Estimating since 2012 and has worked on a number of local and regional industrial facilities including KAAP, Magna International, Cannon Automotive.  Educational facility projects include: Western Kentucky University, Warren, Barren, and Allen County School Systems.  As well as numerous health care facilities including: The Medical Center of Bowling Green, TJ Samson Health Pavilion, and Graves Gilbert Clinic.   

  • Taylor Shoemake

    Taylor Shoemake, Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 2017

    Taylor has been in the construction industry for 4 years.  A graduate of Western Kentucky University, Taylor has a degree in Construction Management.  His previous project management experience has included projects in Nashville, Florida, and as far away as Hawaii.

  • Emily Leeper

    Emily Leeper, Structural Steel Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 2013

    Emily has worked in the construction industry for six years. Prior to joining Stewart Richey, she served as project engineer assisting on various projects at Western Kentucky University (where she also competed in NCAA Division 1 Track and Cross Country) and the University of Kentucky. She earned her B.S. in Industrial Sciences, with a concentration in Architectural Sciences, from Western Kentucky University and has also completed 30 hours of OSHA training.

Mechanical HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping

  • Mark Kinslow

    Mark Kinslow, Fire Protection and Plumbing Manager with Stewart Richey since 2004

    Originally from Scottsville, Kentucky, Mark has been working in the industry since 1997 and is a licensed plumber.  As manager of the Fire Protection division, Mark is responsible for making sure work is secured for on-going workloads through accurate bidding and estimating.  Another important managerial task for Mark is providing time for his team to train and develop their professional skills through in-house training programs like "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" by Franklin Covey.

  • Rick Alexander

    Rick Alexander, HVAC Manager with Stewart Richey since 2015

    Rick came to Stewart Richey in September 2015 with over 30 years of experience in the HVAC trade.  He served in the Navy from 1985-1989 and was honorably discharged.  Rick’s past experience started at a small sheet metal company before joining a large mechanical company out of Owensboro.  Starting out as an estimator, Rick worked his way up to senior project manager before making his transition to Stewart Richey’s mechanical division.  One notable project Rick has completed while at Stewart Richey is completely redoing three elementary schools in Logan county on a tight sixty day schedule to allow the students to return to school on time.  

  • Michael Blankenship

    Michael Blankenship, Mechanical Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 2011

    Originally from Scottsville, Kentucky, Mike has worked in our industry since 2002 and is a licensed Journeyman Plumber. Prior to 2002, he spent 26 years in manufacturing.

  • Lucas Cherry

    Lucas Cherry, HVAC Estimator with Stewart Richey since 1998

    Lucas holds a degree from Bowling Technical College, and is a licensed HVAC Journeyman. He completed the Foreman Leadership Training Course in 2004, was recognized as a Gold Star Employee 2012, and celebrated 15 Years with Stewart Richey in 2013.

  • Jack Middleton, Sr.

    Jack Middleton, Sr., Plumbing Estimator with Stewart Richey since 2010

    Jack has worked in the industry for 40 years primarily as an estimator and field superintendent.  Originally from Miami, Florida, his career has given him the opportunity to live in locations like Saudi Arabia and the Bahama Islands. He is a licensed Journeyman Plumber in Kentucky and Master Plumber in Florida.


  • Jimmy Petty

    Jimmy Petty, Painting Manager with Stewart Richey since 2012

    Jimmy Petty has worked in the construction industry since 2012, but has construction industry-related experience as far back as 1998.  Jimmy has served as Painting Manager for Stewart Richey Construction since early 2016.  With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University, Jimmy Petty has working in Project Management and Estimating since 2012.

    Jimmy manages all functions within the department.  It includes estimating, project management, billing, and following the Best Practices.  He has overseen projects at WKU (Gatton Academy Addition and Renovation), SCA Personal Care (Exterior Repaint), and a Cabela’s store in Lexington, KY. 

    Jimmy Petty has been involved in BNI (a professional networking association), serving as its President one of the three years he participated.  He also spent a short time on the Recruitment and Retention Committee with the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce.

  • Ben Keltner

    Ben Keltner, General Contracting Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 2005

    Prior to working in commercial construction, Ben spent many years working in the residential market. He holds a B.S. in Architectural and Manufacturing Sciences, with an Emphasis in Construction Management, from Western Kentucky University.

  • Jim Brown

    Jim Brown, General Contracting Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 1992

    Jim has been working in the industry since 1988, with prior work experience as a job superintendent. Originally from Independence, Missouri, he has worked at just about every level possible, giving him firsthand knowledge and insight of what it takes to get the job done. Jim’s “four loves” include God, family, fishing, and University of Kentucky basketball.

  • Adam Martinez

    Adam Martinez, Painting Project Manager/Estimator with Stewart Richey since 2008

    Adam has been involved with painting for 17 years. During that time, Adam has visited 16 different countries, which explains his love for traveling. Adam has worked for Stewart Richey since March 2008 and recently earned an Education degree from WKU. Adam enjoys swimming, spending time with his wife and daughter, reading and writing.  


  • Shannon Fletcher

    Shannon Fletcher, Electrical Manager with Stewart Richey since 1998

    Shannon launched his career in 1998 with Stewart Richey and is a certified Master Electrician.  He worked in Project Management and Estimating before being promoted to Division Manager and has been involved in several larger projects such as Western Spirits Bottling, Village Manor, Stampede Mines, and several large hotel chain installations. 

  • Brent Rowe

    Brent Rowe, Electrical Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 1996

    Originially from Owensboro, Kentucky, Brent has been a Master Electrician since 1989.  He also served as a volunteer firefighter in Daviess county for 15 years.

  • Travis Kugler

    Travis Kugler, Electrical Project Manager with Stewart Richey since 2003

    Travis Kugler started as a helper in our former Drywall division, then moved to our former Masonry division for 9 months as a laborer before finding his niche in the Electrical division.  He worked his way up from helper to foreman to project manager.  He is responsible for coordinating and organizing projects and electrical design.  Travis is an Eagle Scout who attended Western Kentucky University and has completed the Associated Builders and Contractors Apprenticeship Program, attained his electrical license, and has certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Blood Borne Pathogens.  Travis is most proud of his work at the WKU Kentucky St Apartments, Key Oil Murfreesboro, Active Day Adult Day Care, Nashville Road Self Storage, Compton’s Orthodontics, S. L. Fletcher Residence, and James E. Bazzell Middle School Renovation.

Safety Team

  • Brandon Vickous

    Brandon Vickous, Safety Director with Stewart Richey since 1998

    Brandon Vickous has worked in the construction industry since 1998, transitioning to the Stewart Richey Construction safety department in 2006 and serving as Safety Director since 2007.   With a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health Sciences from Western Kentucky University, Brandon holds an OSHA 500 Trainer Course Certification, NCCER Instructor Certification, NCCER Construction Site Safety Supervisor Certification, and has completed Steven Covey’s 7 Habits for Managers course.

    Brandon received the Association of Builders and Contractors of Indiana/Kentucky James W. Rabold Award of Safety Excellence in September of 2016 and our company received the Association of General Contractors of Kentucky Inaugural Award of Excellence in Safety Performance in Sept of 2015.

    At Stewart Richey, Brandon is responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for our employees and maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.

  • Brad Johnson

    Brad Johnson, Safety Field Supervisor with Stewart Richey since 2006

    Brad was promoted to Safety Field Supervisor in 2016 after many years in our onsite Mechanics Shop.  His current duties including assisting in planning and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), company and customer requirements, assisting in planning, implementing and performing training for employees in work site safety practices, and performing safety surveys and inspections, prepare reports and recommendations for corrective or preventive measures where necessary and follow up to ensure measures have been implemented.

Service Team

  • Tony Sanders

    Tony Sanders, HVAC/Refrigeration Service Manager with Stewart Richey since 2000

    Tony Sanders has been in the construction industry since 1995, serving as the manager of the HVAC branch of the Stewart Richey Service Group since 2008.  Tony serves on the SKYCTC Air Conditioning Technology Advisory Committee.  He is a certified US Army Corps of Engineers Quality Control Manager as well as a LEED Accredited Professional and NCCER Certified instructor.

    Tony has completed factory training for service, sales, and installation for the following companies: Trane, York, Carrier, Amana, Goodman, Lenox, Waterfurnace Geo, Daikin Ductless, and Mitsubishi Ductless.

    Multiple large projects have been completed by Tony during his tenure at Stewart Richey, including Living Hope Church, Holley Performance, and Fort Dearborn.

  • Scott Herrman

    Scott Herrman, Electrical Service Manager with Stewart Richey since 2000

    A native of Bowling Green, Scott is a licensed electrician and is responsible for scheduling, billing, and management of the Stewart Richey Service Group Electrical technicians.  Keeping his team on schedule and budget with all projects they work on is a top priority for Scott.

  • Lisa Grimes

    Lisa Grimes, Dispatch Administrator with Stewart Richey since 2001

    A native of Bowling Green, Lisa works with "Cruisin For A Cure," a local non-profit group, in her spare time to raise money for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

    At Stewart Richey, Lisa oversees customer service for the the Stewart Richey Service Group.  She is responsible for helping direct our technicians on their service call schedule as well as overseeing billing and scheduling service calls.

  • Joseph Bryant

    Joseph Bryant, Plumbing Service Manager with Stewart Richey since 2006

    A licensed plumber, Joseph joined the company over a decade ago and has advanced through progressively more responsible positions.  Joseph thus brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the plumbing service division.

  • Sean Dinkins

    Sean Dinkins, Interim Fire Protection Service Manager with Stewart Richey since 2007

    Sean has been with Stewart Richey for over 13 years and recently was promoted to interim manager for the Fire Protection division of our service group.  Sean brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the fire protection trade with many years' experience in commercial fire protection installation.

Administrative Team

  • Robin Amonett

    Robin Amonett, HR Manager with Stewart Richey since 1994

    A native of Bowling Green, Robin launched her career at Stewart Richey as the front-desk receptionist.   She holds a PHR (Professional in Human Resources) certification.
